2003 2002 2001 2000 The DLF Newsletter is a web-based publication in which the members report on new digital library services, collections, projects, and challenges, and in which the Director's office can report the progress of DLF initiatives. The Newsletter is an information exchange; not an authoritative publication. Its production relies on the good will and the hard work of the professionals who report on activities at member sites. Taken together their voices are as rich and varied as the digital library programs they represent. In this respect they reflect the very many different paths that libraries are exploring as they migrate some of their collections and services into a networked environment. Both of the following databases are being updated at present, and may not currently reflect all projects and publications in the newsletters. The Newsletter also acts as a gateway onto two registries that provide a clearinghouse of members' digital library expertise and activities. The registries, developed and maintained by the Director's office on the basis of information supplied by members in their Newsletter reports, include:
