EPrints Metadata

  1. Establish full, maximum set of metadata fields
  2. Establish types of documents that will be archived (e.g., refereed journal article, thesis, technical report, unpublished preprint)
  3. For each type, establish which metadata fields from the full set should be used for that type and which should be mandatory for that type.
  4. Establish how the metadata fields will be mapped to Dublin Core and exposed via OAI.
