External vs. Internal Metadata
•We uncovered a significant number of cases of discrepancies between values reported by the DRS metadata (derived from SIP data) and those reported by JHOVE
–100,000 instances image channel size mismatches
–    29,683 instances of image size mismatches
–         1,068 instances of invalid data values
–                 401 instances of resolution mismatches
–                 160 instances of compression type mismatches
