| Here is how our
users were accessing our new system, based on file name. We wanted to look at whether they were
using Find Articles Search, Find Databases Search or Find Databases browse
more. Since this data comes from the
Apache web logs rather than the ENCompass tables, there is no back button
issue. So, we can assert that this
data should give a more accurate picture of overall usage. |
|
| Here you can see
that Find articles (in the red) was used the most, followed by Find Databases
browse (in the purple), and then Find Databases search (in the green). Find articles usage, as of late October,
rose dramatically. Since Find
Databases Browse numbers are higher than those for Find Databases Search, we
can infer from this slide that users who are accessing databases through the
Find Databases page are doing so more often by browsing rather than by
searching. |
